This year my relatives are celebrating Christmas at my Lola's house, we haven't had a christmas there in like yeaaaars. It should be heaps fun. My family didn't go hard out with purchasing presents, instead my mum decided we would give the little kids presents and give the older kids money. Makes sense right? Lols.
Some recent events? Well my school recently had its "Awards Night" and I recieved Dux of my grade, which means I came first in my grade in my uhh, academics. But I'm not that nerdy, trust me, I really do not know how I got it for a second year in a row. Last year I was really serious about my studies *cough* so maybe thats why I got it then, but this year I left everything last minute ! LOL . But ye, my parents were heaps happy that I got it. I also topped the grade in Math, Art and English.
I've been spending most of my summer holidays reading (namely the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead - It's funny and smart but strictly not for kids), redecorating my room, going to the city, shopping and parties. So it's been an okay holiday so far, except for the times where I have Chores to do 24/7. Ugh.
Well, must carry on with christmas festivites (in translation - I gta go back to wrapping presents). Byebye !
5 hours of feet-paining, crazy dancing, frock-admiring, laughing and singing. This was the night we were all waiting for. And there it was, right there and we could hardly believe it. Our Year Ten Formal was the night we were all waiting for , one of the best (except the DJ was pretty crap T_T)
Recently watched:
and omg, what can i say ? I LOVED IT ! I don't care that they missed out on a lot of stuff in the books, I don't care that some of it was changed. I overall LOVED it. Sure, it was abit too fast-paced in the start, but give them a break, it was a 2 hour movie, how can you fit it all in? And they actually made me cry and made me feel scared and all "kilig"ed in some scenes. And, to me, the "humans" in this film made the movie funny. I especially found Mike's WINDOW-DANCING part really really funny .
But I shall save another fresh post for a full personal review of the movie, because I'm really busy at the moment!

My school had a So You Think You Can Dance competition last week. My dance group "Ask Dosch" (which I did not name, I swear) actually won ! Crazy huh ? We won a $100 voucher. Lols. Here's a vid of us in the competition.

omgsh, too many things happenning !! I'm graduating junior high (year ten) on friday, I have formal on tuesday, I'm watching Twilight on thursday, I'm getting my school certificate results soon .. OMG. and I have much more too.
But today, my mood has been all over the place, but one emotion has taken over the rest. What is it? Jealousy. Why? Because hundreds of Sydney-siders are now watching Twilight (the Premiere Screening) while I'm stuck at home :(
Just been through a hell of a day. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I came school literally half-asleep. After being told off many times by teachers for either sleeping or doing something to keep me awake during the talks, I came to the conclusion that I should sleep more.
Trust me, I've said to myself hundreds upon hundreds of times.
But if you were with me at the HSC (HigherSchoolCertificate -- it's like the result of a major exam of your final year at senior high here in Australia) talks at the senior campus of my school, you would totally agree with me. As much as I wanted to listen, I just couldn't.
Another bad thing today was that I was so looking forward to watching 90210 on TV, but some stupid show called "Army Wives" replaced it. No offence, but seriously, why did Channel Ten put that show on at 8:30, when al the kiddies and young teens are STILL watching TV. But the Ex-Listwhich is going to be on at 9:30, made up for my anger.
Then there are all the reviews of Twilght that I've been reading lately. Trust me, I dont hate anyone that says bad thigns about the movie, but its made me feel less excited about seeing it. And I wasnt to be excited about it. But I don't care, I've been hearing more "good" ones than I've been hearing "bad" ones. So there's a plus. And also I've just seen the trailer on TV on Channel Ten for the first time today and it full says "No. 1 Film in the US", so another plus :D
Oh ye, and I recently bought my shoes, earings and bracelet for my Formal (prom, farewell, dinner dance -- whatever you want to call it) and I'll post pictures about those soon too :)
